What is Processtimer ?

Processtimer is, as the name says, a processtimer for processing b/w films. You can enter the time that you need for developing and fixing your film and processtimer will countdown that time. During development, it also beeps to notice you when to agitate your film
The Program is written in gtk+ and known to work in Linux on i386, alpha, ppc, sparc, in Sun Solaris and in Microsoft Windows.
We currently support multiple languages using the GNU gettext tool set, and support for German and English language is included.
Processtimer is licensed under the GNU GPL which means that it doesn't cost you anything.

How can I get it ?

Processtimer is currently in beta state. It works for us but as we are still beta, problems may appear which we don't know yet. Get version 0.3 from here. You compile and install it as usual with

./configure && make && make install

If you want the latest cvs code, go here and follow the instructions. modulename is "processtimer". To compile from cvs you use:

./cvsbuild && ./configure && make && make install

Note that you need gtk+1.2 libraries and their development packages to make processtimer compile. You also need the auto* stuff and gettext if you use cvs. If you have any problems feel free to post in this help forum.
